The patches have been removed,
the de-icer cleaned and the
holes and cracks repaired.
This boot is now ready for
Boots "C" Finish Care. This de-ice boot was nearly covered
with unslightly, unsafe, unapproved
patches.Finished and Functioning

The de-icer boot is cleaned; removing existing patches, tape, wax, bugs, etc. returning the de-icer boot to    original aerodynamic condition. Each surface hole and split is individually repaired utilizing our flush repair process as opposed to the traditional surface patch. After the de-icer boot is repaired and pressure tested, conductive cement is applied to the trailing edge of the de-icer as needed. The de-icer boot is finished with our high gloss, cosmetically appealing surface treatment/wax. The above description is a rough overview, the repair process is of course, more complex.

By utilizing our repair process, the entire de-ice system will also experience increased longevity as there are less entry points for moisture and other contaminants to enter the system, which will lead to corrosion and deterioration.

BootsEdge Repair Corporation sells de-icer care products too! If we can be of any service or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 888-687-0945.

*Damaged areas beyond limits are repaired utilizing traditional surface patch.
